Aprilia RS125 General Information

Aprilia have been producing this two-stroke rocket for over ten years now and it's been a runaway success among the budding Valentino Rossi's of the UK. It's main competition was traditionally from the other Italian stroker, namely the Cagiva Mito. Recent years have seen other manufacturers get in on the act and it remains to be seen if they can plug into the racer for the road scene.

Aprilia RS125 2001 I had this bike for about eighteen months from the end of 2007. It was pretty well worn when I got it and had many battle scars left over from previous owners. It did run sweet though and it was (relatively) reliable. Let me down a couple of times and wouldn't you know it, once during what can only be described as a tropical downpour. On sunny, dry days though, what a bike! It cornered like it was on rails and gave you that extra bit of confidence to throw it around as if you were competing in a GP. Top speed wasn't as fast as some claim on the Internet but mine was good for close to a ton. Overall a great bike but if I had my time again - would I have another?
